Create Your Own Pop Art Portrait
Posted on July 1st, 2007 by Josh Stauffer
This weekend I learned how to create a pop art portrait using Adobe Fireworks. I am surprised because I am not artistic at all but I think it came out pretty well. The tutorial caused me to use tools that I don’t normally use when designing. I never realized how powerful the pen tool is especially for tracing and outlining objects. I used to use the eraser tool to crop objects out of a picture but from now on I will stick to the pen… big time saver! Thank you www.family-portrait-artists.com for expanding my knowledge.

hmmm… that is a good question. Wikipedia says Lawrence Alloway is the one who is often credited.
